What a little gem of a place. Tuck away at the back of the Barbican, set in a lovely position. We had vouchers to have a two course meal with a glass of prosecco each.
We had starters of homemade focaccia bread, provola cheese, gaeta olives and organic extra virgin olive oil and buffalo mozzarella with marinated pumpkin squash . The mozzarella cheese was superb and the bread was fresh and tasty. Our main meal consisted of spaghetti with a fresh basil and tomato sauce and paccheri pasta with pumpkin and sage sauce . We enjoyed a bottle of organic red wine and at around £14.00
All the dishes were fresh and tasty, the staff friendly and they made us feel very welcomed.
I would highly recommend this restaurant whether you are a vegetarian or not. In fact you would be missing out on enjoying home tasting fresh delights.
